I consider myself a multi-passionate person. I love to laugh, learn, and serve. I am a huge advocate for nature, animals, and conservation. One of my big dreams is to start some kind of animal sanctuary…for now, I am happy to photograph animals at different rescues/sanctuaries.

In my downtime….not going to lie, I'm still trying to figure out how to actually do downtime….I can be seen out and about with my family or walking my pup. I enjoy getting out into nature to photograph this incredible world around us. I love both grand and intimate landscapes. I am working on my green thumb and on perfecting making iced coffee at home. The mountains and ocean call to me…I try to answer, but never often enough. 

I just wrapped up a 26-year career in education to go all in on my love of photography and story telling. I have learned more than I ever expected to from my students…and now, it’s time for a different kind of journey. I have so many ideas for so many things (cue multi-passionate traits)...I’m excited to have the opportunity recreate myself and my life.

My story

As student of life, former teacher, and photographer, I've seen a lot and have learned more. One of the most important lessons I've learned is to be open to the possibilities. If I didn't do that, I wouldn't be where I am right now. It's not perfect...but it's pretty special. 

There is beauty and magic around us...it's up to us to find it...or make it.

Things I've learned

As a photographer, my goal is to capture the true essence of what I see through my lens—whether it’s the love between a couple, the connection of a happy family, or the charm of a small New England town. I want my work to tell a story, to spark an emotion, or even make people pause and think. I hope my photos capture the playful, silly moments of love, family, and life in general. 

Photographs are a beautiful way to capture and
preserve all the moments…the good and the messy middle. They are a way to keep these cherished memories alive so you can relive them for years to come. I approach each session as if I'm capturing moments for my own family, treating every person, every moment, and every photograph with respect, kindness, and love.
