Being outside in nature grounds me. I find peace and inspiration no matter where I am—on my back deck, in the mountains, by the ocean…and I usually have my camera with me to capture it all. I love photographing wildlife and landscapes, with a focus on the quiet, intimate scenes that often go unnoticed.  Similar to capturing your essence, I like to try to capture the essence of my surroundings. There is a story to tell there too. 

In my downtime….not going to lie, I'm still trying to figure out how to actually do downtime….I can be seen out and about with my family or walking my pup. I am working on my green thumb and on perfecting making iced coffee at home. I go camping any chance I get. Nothing beats coffee (or wine) by the campfire. I also volunteer when I can...often with my camera for animal sanctuaries. I eventually want to dive into the world of conservation photography.

I just wrapped up a 26-year career in education to go all in on my love of photography and story telling. I have learned more than I ever expected to from my students…and now, it’s time for a different kind of journey. I’m excited to have the opportunity to recreate myself and my life and I am so grateful to have you along for the ride.
